Rainbow Rhythms is about having as much fun as possible. It's not a show where the children are just sat watching for the majority of the time, they are up and about using all the equipment. The main structure of the party centres around seven coloured bags (the seven colours of the rainbow of course!), each one containing the equipment for an activity. The activities are very varied, including puppets, musical instruments, action songs and rhymes, bean bags, balloon pumps, and stories. There’s also chance for the children to let off steam with activities such as pom poms, bubble popping, dancing games, and parachute play. For older children we can incorporate some traditional party games such as musical statues or Corners, but we try to limit the sort of games which involve children being 'out' so that all the children are involved for as much of the time as possible.
